Tim is our Chief Instructor with 15 years’ service in the Armed Forces. With 7 years served in the Royal Navy before transferring to the elite Royal Marines Commandos and serving a further 8 years. His career has taken him to many places around the world, from deserts to jungles, to arctic conditions. Training with Royal Marines and members of the UK & US Special Forces has helped him to develop his passion for physical fitness.
Tim is a fully trained Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Olympic Weight Lifting Coach with a love for outdoor activities such as hillwalking, mountaineering, kayaking, abseiling and rock climbing. He is also a regular to obstacle course races like ‘Tough Mudder’ and the ‘Spartan Race’.
Tim’s determination and enthusiasm allows him to work closely with individuals at all abilities and fitness levels to develop their personal performance and developmental programs. Delivering the opportunity to improve and achieve full body fitness for all, whether you are training recreationally, or at athletic level.

Jodie started off as a Focused Fitness client where she very quickly she began to demonstrate her confidence, use of correct technique, and amazingly high fitness levels. A keen runner with a background of charity fitness work, Jodie has become an instructor in Metafit and Kettlercise with the goal of helping others achieve their fitness goals. Jodie is passionate about fitness and is an inspiration to lots of our members. She has a fantastic, down to earth personality that makes every one of her workouts fun and effective!
One of our very first members, Gillian has worked hard on her fitness and achieved some amazing results! She decided to push her knowledge and physical limits to a new level by becoming an instructor with Focused Fitness. A busy working mum of 3 Gillian inspires many of our clients to work hard towards their goals, she is extremely fun and uplifting with a drive to help people achieve their goals whilst keeping morale and fun at a high.
Currently studying to become a personal trainer, Gillian is qualified instructor for Kettlercise, Metafit & Fatburn Extreme (FBX).
Claire is another of our original members turned instructor! Claire has had an impressive fitness journey by losing a lot of weight, transforming her physique and gaining a massive amount of confidence. Also a working mum, Claire knows how to help people get the most from their training. Claire’s sessions are always challenging because she puts a lot of time and thought into what she does. Claire is very determined, motivational and great to be around, she will help you to escape your comfort zone and achieve new heights of fitness.
Claire is our chief Jog Scotland Leader and a Fatburn Extreme (FBX) instructor.
